PC Plant Training Road Roller Course
NPORS 214 — Road Roller
NPORS 214 is the National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS) accreditation for operating road rollers (also known as rollers or compactors). This course and assessment demonstrate that an operator has the practical skills and knowledge to safely and effectively operate a range of road rollers used in construction, highways, landscaping, and groundwork compaction tasks.

New operators with little or no experience who need entry-level training and assessment.
Experienced operators seeking formal recognition of competence.
Site personnel who will operate single-drum or tandem rollers, including ride-on vibrating rollers and static rollers within the scope defined by NPORS.
Employers and training coordinators who require a third-party assessment and NPORS card for site compliance.

What We Offer

NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) novice courses are designed for beginners with no prior experience operating plant machinery, providing comprehensive training from basic safety to practical operation over 2–10 days. Courses are available for machinery like excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, and rollers, resulting in an NPORS operator card upon success.

NPORS refresher courses (typically 1 day) allow experienced plant operators to renew their competency cards, usually valid for 5 years. Courses cover updated safety regulations, manufacturer requirements, and practical testing for machinery like , excavators, and dumpers. Refresher training ensures, or tests, that operators maintain high standards and safe operating practices.
